THE STEPS Hotel by Eitch Collection

After a 11 day cruise and disembarking at Civitavecchia, I needed to stay 1 night in Rome to fly back to my country the next day and I came across this hotel The Steps. The room photos online caught my attention because of the modern and new designs. Location I wasn’t too sure since it was my first time in Rome. Once arrived at the hotel, was greeted with a big welcome smile at the reception and also had help to carry my luggages up to the lobby because there are 2-3 steps of stairs. Lobby was well designed, self serve complimentary coffee and water was offered. Rooms were exactly the same as the photos. Very modern looking, spacious (boutique hotel standard), clean and they offer disposable slippers. Not all Europe hotels provides slippers. Bed is super comfortable, and also complimentary coffee in room. Location was a surprise. Minutes to luxury shops and to Spanish Steps. 10-15 mins walk to Trevi Fountain and many other souvenirs shops. Many restaurants around the hotel but I ate at the hotels restaurant and it was delicious. Must try the raw oysters with passion fruit sauce. AMAZING!! The area is safe but always be cautious of pick pockets at attraction sites. Pros: - Staffs were well trained and well mannered. Very well trained and extremely helpful (Thank You all who made my stay so memorable) - Modern and clean rooms (big surprise) - Location was fantastic Cons: Not a big concern but just an opinion so there can be more improvements. In my room, the walls have scuff marks (due to other travellers opening their luggages). Not a big issue, I’m not sure if its possible to remove the scuff marks on the wall but maybe can try and it would make customers feel even happier because first impressions walking in the room is very important. Coffee machine at the lobby, there were a lot of small flies at the garbage bin corner and made me back off from getting a coffee. During my check in, there were none around noon time, check out during the morning, there were flies. Not sure if it was the timing. Overall, I will definitely come back to this hotel and 100% recommend to all travellers. I regret for not staying longer.

Love this place. Central location, tucked away behind Spanish steps. Allow us to visit Spanish steps and Trevi Fountain early in the morning before they become crowded. A short walk to both places. Good for shopping too. Staff are super lovely. Highly recommended for a stay in Rome.

I absolutely loved my stay at The Steps at Eitch Belsiana! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and came with a clean, well-maintained bathroom. A complimentary bottle of champagne was such a nice touch and set the tone for a truly enjoyable stay. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, paying close attention to even the smallest details. I especially appreciated how they cleaned and organized my room so thoughtfully. One standout moment was when I ordered food for delivery, and they went the extra mile by bringing it directly to my door—such a simple gesture that made a big difference in my experience. A special shoutout to Aira, who made our stay even more memorable! Aira provided fantastic recommendations for the area and ensured we were always well taken care of. The warmth of Aira and the entire staffs hospitality truly stood out. Overall, I highly recommend The Steps at Eitch Belsiana and would absolutely stay here again!
