I recently stayed at the Steward, and I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome. Every team member I encountered from the front desk to housekeeping was friendly, attentive, and eager to help. Check-in was seamless, and I appreciated the thoughtful recommendations for local attractions and dining. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, but it was truly the service that made the stay exceptional. It’s clear that guest satisfaction is a priority at this property. I would highly recommend the Steward to anyone looking for a stay and I’ll definitely be returning!

Nice hotel, loved the big rooms which are perfect a family. Nice heated pool and jacuzzi. Code to UCSB which is our primary reason for staying. Really like the style and decor and hard wood floors. Only issue is the short staffed restaurant. Unfortunately we had to wait very long for breakfast service which was not ideal considering we were on a tight timeline and needed to leave in the morning. While the staff were nice, they needed more servers (from what we saw only one person was handling the entire restaurant at breakfast, including make smoothies and coffee etc).

Cashed out a bunch of points to have a luxe room for me and a friend. Was looking for relaxation, some pool, etc. This place was TEAMING with children. First there was an actual sports team of teenage girls, and there were a bunch of families. The hot tub looked green and smelled of pee. People weren't cleaning up after themselves, so finding lounge chairs was a problem. No one was cleaning up after these people either. Children were loud starting at 6am. While I did use points, I know everyone staying here was paying 4-6 hundred a night, sure they can pay that, but can they behave respectfully?
