Stayed for 1 night (18/07/25), just a stop over before driving home. What a lovely place. The staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The room was big and clean, bed was comfy and big. Food was nice and hot, and the bar was well stocked. Nice seating area out the back to, to have a drink as well. Could not fault the hotel 10/10. Would recommend it to anyone. 👍👍👍

I could not fault this hotel for anything. The staff was very pleasant as I came in very late in evening. The room was very much more than I expected. Exceptionally large 6f x 7f bed plus bathroom with shower. All Exceptionally clean. The bar and the Restaurant very very clean. The breakfast in the morning was very hot and fresh. The location Of the hotel was in the countryside. Fields all round. And a large on site car park.

Nice Hotel if you are on a budget.... In my room, the place to hang clothes was right over the kettle and there was a blind with no view and you couldn't open the window.... I did tell them they need to know more about the rooms. For example, when I called, the central number told me there was not a bath in my room (which I hoped for) but that I could just turn up and ask them to transfer me to a room with a bath but when I came late that evening the night receptionist told me she didn't 'think' any of the rooms has baths. In the morning I asked another lady and she said only one room has a bath... The shower was cold when I tried it and so I called reception, who said I should try turning it in ' the middle ' but there was nothing in the middle...then she said it could be due to a maintenance that was going on and it was, so water came on within 30 minutes. I had called reception in the evening of my first night there and asked if I could have breakfast sent up if I missed coming down and the man said it would be fine and a chef was always around....when I called in the morning, the receptionist was a little frosty and said that the breakfast was about to finish and they don't send food to your room....Needless to say, I went out to find food. On the next day, I had breakfast and it was nice. The receptionist that day was nice and had the chef make me something before I left. I stayed 3 nights and it was comfortable overall... Martin, the night porter got my jokes and banter.... Very quiet and not many people around but I tried to make some sort of vibe ☺️
