The Store

We stayed at The Store this past weekend and had a truly wonderful experience. John was an exceptional host—communicative, thoughtful, and welcoming from start to finish. He made check-in incredibly easy, even accommodating our arrival time, and provided clear instructions that made everything stress-free. The space itself was spotless, charming, and exactly as described—full of character with all the comforts we needed. We especially appreciated John’s personal touches and his care in making sure we had everything for a comfortable stay. It’s rare to find a host so genuinely invested in making guests feel at home. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend The Store to anyone visiting the area. Thank you, John, for your outstanding hospitality!

Where do I begin? The Store is unlike any place that I have stayed, in the best way possible! It feels like home away from home, all due to the attention to detail both inside the home and outdoors. Check-in was very easy with John giving us a warm welcome upon arrival. We booked the King Suite for a one night stay. The room was huge, bedding and towels luxurious (one of the best mattresses that I’ve ever slept on), spacious bathroom/shower, and all of the thoughtful amenities that you could ask for. If you are not familiar with Raleigh, John’s info and recommendations for the best places to go, for both activities and restaurants, is invaluable! I feel so fortunate to have found such a beautiful place to stay in such a quaint neighborhood in Raleigh. Thank you, John for making our stay so enjoyable and I look forward to our next visit!

John is a host with great taste, a gift for the gab and a love for Raleigh. He will let you now the best spots for dinner, coffee and an afternoon walk. The rooms are spotless, beautiful and comfortable. There is a chill vibe that permeates The Store and a super cute puppy as well!
