The Stratford Park Hotel & Golf Club

We had such a lovely stay! We came for the roast dinner and were looked after by Lily, who was absolutely amazing — not only to us but to our dog too (he got some treats and was very happy about it!). After a delicious meal, we headed out to play a round of golf, which was a great experience with beautiful surroundings. Later, we returned to the room to relax, then enjoyed a few drinks and some games in the evening. Ahmed looked after us during this part of our stay and was equally lovely and attentive. The whole experience felt really relaxed and welcoming — we’ll definitely be back!

We have just had two nights and three days at this hotel and have enjoyed every minute. The staff were excellent very friendly and helpful especially the restaurant manager and his team , Ahmed Fin and Beth . Room was comfortable and spacious and the food very good. Will definitely be going back.

Breakfast was the best part of the stay, mind you, we did go down as it had just opened! Bedroom reeked of something unpleasant, obviously a regular occurrence as the night manager had a neutralizing spray which needed to be sprayed everywhere and he even left me the spray!!!! Had the window opened with a fan near it to circulate and waft the odour, it helped a little. No TV remote control . Dinner was sub standard but considering there was an Indian chef the curry should have been better. A takeaway would have been the better option. No reduction at checkout just a vague apology and offering free meal/afternoon tea on my return - won't be returning.
