The Suites Hotel Namwon

We stayed in the royal suite and really enjoyed it. The suite is very very large, with an expansive living room and dining room, plus an office area and a small kitchen area, but no stove top. The suite has 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The master bedroom alone is over 1000 SQ ft. We especially liked the expansive balconies and windows, which line the entire living room/dining room area and the master bedroom. The easy to use shade controls allow you to open one or all of the window shades in a particular area. The entire suite has floor heating and there are 4 overhead A/C units. Unlike some hotels in Korea, we were able to use the A/Cs and venting even in the spring time. A 2-burner stove top and apartment size refrigerator would be a good addition. Wish list for our next stay! Very quiet and nice. Nearby walking paths along the river and a 2-5km trail up into the hills. Lots of parking and very friendly and helpful front desk staff. No bell service,. however for help with bags.

I am shocked and extremely disappointed. At the end of stay we needed some relaxing luxury time. This place is an absolute con. We paid 750 US$ for the Suite 301. The list of inadmissible things is incredible: dirty windows, smelly room, missing towels, the cheapest slippers, missing bathrobe belts (only one small ridiculously small size), not enough bottles of water for everyone, and when we asked why no amenities were given for the price, we are told it's normal 😱 no notepad in the room, no glasses, no tea or coffee maker, nothing to make you feel cosy and homey. And the worst part : the spa is the saddest place I've seen, with both hot and cold baths smelling chloride so bad that it hurts. This place is sad, service is bad, staff not caring, and if that wasn't enough, they want you to pay 7200Won for the sauna and even more for the pool 😱😱😱

A very hot room. It is end of oct with 20 degrees outside. The ondol floor increases the temperature inside the room and the aircon, not sure if it is working properly. Unable to sleep. I wished that I had not stayed there. I do not recommend this place to anyone.
