The Summit Kandy

A very intimate and unique hotel situated at one of the highest points in Kandy, offering beautiful and unmatched views of the city and scenic greenery that surrounds it. The staff are absolutely wonderful. We arrived quite late at night, past the restaurant opening hours, and they were still kind enough to open up their kitchen and dinner menu for us. The food is delicious and high quality, with heart warming touches. The rooms are also quite spacious and clean. Highly recommended.

Our stay at the summit was undoubtedly the best in Sri Lanka. The view from the room was spectacular, and the room itself was gorgeous. The attention to detail in the entire property was incredible and the building is beautifully designed. However, the absolute highlight was the service. We were made to feel comfortable immediately, nothing was too much, and the staff went above and beyond for our entire stay. Truely a wonderful experience I would recommend to everyone. Also, exceptional food, particularly the breakfast and dinner on the rooftop! Excellent view of the city with amazing food.

We stayed at the hotel for one night – from August 4th to 5th – and it was truly a great choice! The most impressive part was the beautiful view we could enjoy from our rooms – a perfect spot to relax. The breakfast was delicious – fresh, varied, with some local touches, and presented with great care. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the whole stay went smoothly without any issues. We definitely recommend this hotel – and we’d be happy to come back!
