The Sun of Granary Resort and Villas

The place was beautiful—peaceful and relaxing. The room was charming and had all the amenities we needed. The staff were genuinely kind, accommodating, and very understanding. Just a heads-up: it's surrounded by rice paddies, so you’ll hear crickets and other nature sounds, which actually add to the ambiance. The road leading there is a bit dark and bumpy, but it’s definitely worth it. We’ll definitely return!

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The rooms were beautifully designed, clean, and very comfortable. The entire property is well-kept and has a calm, relaxing atmosphere. The location is quiet and peaceful, yet still very convenient – only about 10 minutes by scooter from the center of Ubud. It’s the perfect balance between being away from the crowds and still close to everything. The pool area is lovely, and a great spot to unwind. The reception staff were professional, welcoming, and always ready to help. All in all, a wonderful place to stay. I’d definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ubud.

The breakfast was very delicious with great varieties of selection. The dinning area facing the rice field with free roaming ducks added to the whole dinning experience! Sunday night dinner with Balinese dance was a wonderful experience too! Love it! We stayed in the two rooms villa n the place was very spacious n beautiful. The only area for improvement is the rooms were too dark with insufficient lighting. The other point to note is this villa is very deep into the rice field, so needed transport to go in n out which can be inconvenient. However, the hotel does provide free shuttle service to the Ubud center area which is a nice touch!
