An excellent hotel, downtown Vancouver. Service is great. Rooms are very clean and well stocked. Underground parking is an extra charge, but it's worth it. We didn't have a chance to eat at the restaurant, however it was very elegant and welcoming. The menu looked great. The pool and hot tub are fun.
I stay in Vancouver often for business. This was my first time at this hotel and I’ll definitely be back! Room - a bit small, BUT beautifully decorated, the linens were soft and luxurious. Everything was clean. Complimentary water, tea, coffee, but also a mini bar with items for purchase which is convenient. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was great. There is room service via a QR code. Though I did not use it. Check in - quick and easy Food - unfortunately I didn’t try the on site restaurant, but it looked beautiful and I’ll try it next time. Amenities - The gym was really busy at 6:30 am when I went. But still enough room and equipment for everyone. Good quality and variety of equipment as well. It did not smell, so it must be cleaned often. The pool was under renovation at this time. Location - perfect. Right near Robson and walkable to everything. I didn’t see any sketchy characters around as with some other locations. Parking - I used valet and they were lovely and very quick. Noise - I did hear street noise. But I was on the 7th floor (not very high up). I’m very sensitive to noise. So I woke a few times. I do wish they asked if I would’ve preferred a higher floor. Other - the elevators were very quick. Never a wait. I do wish you had to scan your room card to make the elevators function. That always makes me feel safer.
Great location, classy feel, and comfortable stay. Sutton Place Hotel is right in the heart of downtown, perfect for shopping, dining, and exploring. The rooms are clean and beautifully renovated. Staff are friendly and professional. Amenities like the pool and in-room espresso were a nice touch. Parking is a bit pricey, but it is in the downtown area. Would stay again!
