I stayed at the Swiftwater Hotel for a weekend getaway, and honestly, it exceeded expectations in every way. The building itself is gorgeous, but what really stood out was the staff. Full transparency, I was having a rough morning and got a call from Amanda at the front desk about an issue with my card no fault of the hotel, just my bank being overly cautious. I was driving and already frustrated, and I know I wasn’t the easiest person to deal with in that moment. But Amanda never missed a beat she was kind, patient, and incredibly helpful the whole time. By the end of the call, I honestly felt like the difficult one, and she still made me feel taken care of. That kind of grace under pressure is rare. Later, when my partner and I dined at the hotel, we were looked after by Bradley, who was an absolute gentleman. He pulled out both our chairs a detail we couldn’t even remember the last time we’d experienced and made sure we had everything we needed without ever hovering. The service was top-tier and better than a lot of high-end places we’ve been to. Overall, it was a great stay, and I’m genuinely looking for an excuse to come back to the area just so I can stay here again. Swiftwater has something really special going on.
My wife and I needed a weekend away. We booked 3 days at Swiftwater last minute. This place is absolutely beautiful. In-Hotel Dining was amazing (Definitely go for the Pork Chops with Honey Glaze). Indoor-Outdoor pool was awesome and the staff went above and beyond to provide top notch service.
Walking into the hotel, we were immediately impressed. The lobby is beautiful, with high ceilings, a fireplace, and an on-site restaurant. We were warmly greeted by the bellhop, who helped us with our luggage. After check-in, he gave us a tour of our room—which was beautiful and relaxing—and showed us the VIP section. Out back, there’s a pool and a cozy seating area with fire pits. Overall, the hotel itself is stunning. However, the restaurant is very expensive, and gratuity is automatically added to every bill—even for solo diners. We felt this was unfair, as tips should be earned, not expected. Service could have been better. No one checked on us during our stay for things like fresh towels or toiletries. Also, the website states that a concierge would follow up after your visit, but we never received any follow-up. That added to our disappointment.
