This is one of the most beautiful pubs in Oxford. 17th century thatched building (happy to be corrected about the date), original stone furnishings, beams. Really lovely to be in. the bar staff and kitchen are fantastic. Best pint of Guinness I’ve had in the vicinity of Oxford! Food is really tasty too! Loved the ambience, but above all the staff/owners put their all into creating a lovely atmosphere. Great banter, and truly one of my favourite experiences in pubs in Oxford. Couldn’t rate more highly. Will be back as much as I possibly can.
Gorgeous village pub. Accommodation is generously sized and presented to a very high standard. Sweet beer garden with great views. Delicious food. And the staff are amazing. Welcoming, friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Altogether it makes for a thoroughly enjoyable start

The staff are welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Food was cooked freshly. Serves Fullers beer and some ales. Good Gin selection.
