Nice little Inn with cosy rooms and good food. Stayed a night there during a longer trip and were pleasantly surprised by the place. People there are polite and helpful. The only downside was that the room was very hot, but since it was the hottest day of the year, that was not their fault. And it would have been hard to change that. But we were given a large fan for the room to compensate.

Visited on 13th July 2024, but leaving review on 23rd June 2025 After having been speaking to an online friend for some years, we finally decided to meet up somewhere roughly halfway, and we chose this place. Upon arrival, whilst waiting for my friend to arrive, I had a nice latte. Once my friend arrived we had another drink and ordered some food. We both had fish and chips. I remember it being nice but can't remember how much it cost as it was nearly a year ago! The pub was nice and spacious. It had outside seating and a large car park. It was a nice pub, considering we chose it at random 😁

We were meeting up with my wife's Uncle on the way back from Gloucester as it was on route. The pub is very family friendly with lots of children's seats, a simple children's menu and the great play park which is on site. The lunch menu was basic and did just pub classics, but for £10 a dish you couldn't complain. The service is order at the bar and the staff were friendly enough. There weren't any menus on the table when we arrived so had to find them where the condiments were in the corner. The beer wasn't a huge range, but had a selection which should tick a style for all. A large car park as well, so I imagine you could always park, also next to the big park so was ideal to be able to walk the dog before going for lunch.
