The Terrace at The Settlement

I always stay at the Settlement when I come to Melbourne so I have stayed quite a few times. Perfect as always. I feel safe being there as a single woman being by myself. My only issue today was I forgot to say in my booking I have a disability so I couldn't have the shower over the bath. Completely my fault there but let me tell you the bath looked amazing and I was longing for a nice soak in the tub. Oh well Gosh I love this place.

Very disappointed We’ve stayed here before Had a 5 hour trip so looking forward to a good meal & sleep Bed creaked throughout night Pillows hard Could hear neighbour talking 11pm & when having showers & spa water was not hot enough

We arrived at this motel to ask if we could get our room early because my wife was feeling unwell at 11.30am and needing to go to bed …. was told in no uncertain terms 2pm was it … Arrived at 2pm and was given key to our room, no directions other than to go to car park ( would have been nice to be given direction there was another door to get back up to the reception/ bistro etc from a stairwell at end of rooms ) … the room was bigger than most which was a surprise …. Very disappointed with no freezer in the fridge to keep something frozen for my wife… had to go to cafe to get a wheat bag heated for her no microwave in the room and went to the cafe this was accepted the first time I asked but second time was frowned upon( like why do you ask for this) Then we went to dinner in the bistro …. My wife ordered the mustard chicken salad …. Mmmm well $26 for what 5 chicken strips crumbed on the most basic salad I can make at home for less than $8 …. And mustard dressing with really no taste …. We were from interstate and will never return, was only one night but the service was very unfriendly at front and cafe …. Bistro was good other than the food
