I stayed only 1 night with my son who is 14 years old. This place allows guests who are 13 and above only. That made the facility more quiet and private. The breathtaking view of the beach caught my eyes at the check in area. The welcome drink was pretty good for refreshing. Fortunately, I was able to get an upgrade to the ocean view and it was amazing. The daybed definitely was a charm. The bath tub in the room had a great view. The lounge offered decent afternoon tea and evening cocktails. The only downside was that there was only one non-alcoholic cocktail available which was Blue China but it was delicious. The breakfast buffet definitely lacked variety but the quality was good. I was able to enjoy it enough. The Thalasso pool is not for pregnant women. There was only one place I could get in and the most problem was the sea water was way too salty for my skin. It irritated me too much so I got out very soon. The outdoor pool was fantastic. The view was another breathtaking spot and my favorite area in the facility. My son and I made great memories. The service from all of the staff from The Terrace Club at Busena was phenomenal. I truly enjoyed my stay and will come back next year for sure.
We were drawn in by the reviews and beautiful photos, but the reality was disappointing. The hotel hasn’t been renovated in years—it felt like stepping into a resort from 15 years ago. Outdoor areas were untidy, with leaves, dirt, and general neglect throughout. The main pool area looked tired, with old loungers and parasols left on the ground. It clearly hadn’t been cleaned. The pool bar was dull and poorly serviced, with a limited menu and often left unattended. There was also no music anywhere in the hotel—not by the pool, in the lobby, or at the bar—creating a flat, lifeless atmosphere that lacked any sense of energy or hospitality. Our room was the highlight: spacious, comfortable, and with a lovely view. But the rest of the hotel didn’t live up to expectations. The airport shuttle was another letdown. It only runs once a day, was overcrowded, hot, and made unnecessary stops—including one to deliver mail. Not a great way to end the trip. Special thanks to Peem, Okiyama, and Yata, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. This hotel needs serious attention to live up to a “5-star label”. A refresh of the facilities, better upkeep, and improved atmosphere. For the price, it doesn’t deliver. We had dinner at the Ritz Carlton, that felt like the true 5-star experience this place wants to be.
Very strange hotel and even stranger service!!! I do not recommend it for booking or staying. We were traveling with our friends and booked a neighboring hotel in this complex called Busena Terrace. We came to visit our friends, they met us… but we were not allowed in, saying that yes, the complex is one, but this part is super private and guests are not allowed. Our friends tried to explain to them that we are staying nearby, and they personally invited us to visit for a couple of hours… But the most unpleasant thing: they refused because of “privacy,” but for 6,000 yen, we could enter, sit in the bar, and visit our friends’ room. If you are such a hotel that strongly protects the privacy of your guests, not allowing friends of your guests into their rooms when your guests themselves ask for it—while staying in the neighboring building in the same complex… Where do all these principles go for 6,000 yen? Privacy, privacy, but for 6,000 yen, they don’t care. It looks like plain hypocrisy. Very unpleasant. Both we and our friends who stayed there were left with a very bad and unpleasant impression. For those who think they are getting privacy, I will disappoint you. For 6,000 yen, they won’t care, and they will let you in. Do not book here, the service is mediocre. The manager does not match the level of the hotel. The neighboring complex, just 100 meters away, in the same hotel complex, is much better and cozier)))) and the service is 100 times better!!!)
