The Three Blackbirds

We went for my daughter's birthday meal, we were a party of 5 (2 grandchildren) plus 1 dog!. The pub is lovely, great setting and excellent food. The dishes we had where really tasty. The Beefburgers are large and really meaty the triple cooked chips are really crispy and just as you hoped for (generous portions) my daughter's onion tartan with feta was delicious. The grandchildren loved their meals with the Mac & cheese receiving praise but the highest compliments from them came for the freshly cooked doughnuts! The waiting staff where charming and attentive and went above and beyond even singing happy birthday to my daughter when bringing in the cake, A true credit to their employers. Happy waitresses really adds to the lovely atmosphere. Also we were delighted that Morris dancers arrived and we enjoyed a really fascinating set of dances from them. Really a lovely evening I would highly recommend this pub.

The menu and range of drinks was good for a relatively small establishment. Our server was very diligent in dealing with dietary restrictions! The rebuilt pub was well done and our friends were also complimentary about their rooms.

We had a wonderful time. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed in the bar by the amazing friendly staff, lovely ambiance and buzz. The room was clean and well presented. Dinner was to die for and could have fed 6 (we had the 2 sharing pie) and breakfast was just what we needed. The rest of the pie came home with us and our daughter loved it!! I can’t give these guys enough praise. It was a gem of a find for us ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
