Spent a wonderful night while doing some fell walking. I highly recommend the hotel and the restaurant. We were given a very warm welcome on arrival and all our experiences of the staff were great: very friendly and efficient. Our room was very nice with a large, comfortable bed and a very smart en-suite and the dinner and breakfast the next morning were absolutely delicious. Perfect.
A gorgeous place with the best management team. Everyone there was very friendly and the food was really good. The view was very pretty and tranquille. There are some lovely trail walks you can follow and then come back for a well deserved meal!
Really disappointed with our experience here. We parked up in the morning and went for a short walk, planning to return for some food and a drink. When we got back, we were greeted by the owner who told us we couldn’t use the car park—even though we explained we were literally about to come in for food and drinks! We’ve never come across such an unwelcoming attitude from a business that relies on customers. Safe to say we took our custom elsewhere and won’t be returning. A real shame, as we were looking forward to relaxing here after our walk.
