What a wonderful stay. Rooms were fabulous and well appointed. They are ina building adjacent to the pub. Stairs to go up.if you are on an upper floor. Breakfast was in the bar and was lovely. Parking is free in car park behind between 6pm and 8am. We took a photo of the machine and paid at 8am.for.2 hours which worked out cheap. We went to the Mango House Indian for food with friends which was lovely too. We had the Rowling room. There were a few with views of the castle that looked nice too.
Great night, great music, and great company. Staff are always friendly and the beer is good too. The fact they often have live music is a massive bonus.
Nice stop over on our way back from Wales. Staff were very accommodating as we're didn't arrive until very late and provided us with a key prior. The room itself was quite quirky and had alot of character. Had breakfast in the morning which was nice to. Pub is in a very nice spot.
