I recently stayed at The Time Hotel in Istanbul, and overall, my experience was just okay. It wasn't the best, but it also wasn't awful—I did enjoy certain aspects of my stay. The highlight for me was definitely the staff, who were extremely friendly and helpful. A special mention goes to the lovely lady at breakfast. I didn’t catch her name, but she was older with brown hair and responsible for restocking the food. Although her English was limited, she was so kind-hearted and polite, making breakfast a pleasant experience each morning. Speaking of breakfast, the options were repetitive and somewhat minimal, but it was decent enough to start the day. However, there were a few downsides to my stay. The bedroom was constantly dark, with no view to speak of apart from an artificial tree that faced another room. This made the room feel a bit gloomy, which was disappointing. Unfortunately, my experience at the hotel spa wasn’t great. The massage was very pricey. The facial was practically nonexistent, lasting less than two minutes with just a quick application of a mask, which I was told to wash off myself. The massage itself was incomplete; the therapist didn’t even cover my whole body, and the Turkish bath was disappointingly short. To add to the disappointment, despite paying a high price, there was pressure to leave a tip, which felt unprofessional and left a sour note on the spa experience. On the positive side, the hotel’s location is excellent, which made it easy to explore the city. Overall, my stay at The Time Hotel was good, but it could have been better, especially in terms of the spa services and breakfast variety.
It is a small hotel located in popular area, teeming with street vendors. First and foremost, the organization of the hotel was severely lacking. Despite having a reservation, upon arrival they don’t have enough rooms and some others found out that the type of room selected was not available. This lack of respect for bookings set a frustrating tone for my stay. When I finally got a room, I was disheartened to find it dirty and poorly maintained. Unfortunately, the cleaning staff were only available for a limited time, which meant that I had no option for a room cleanup during my stay. While the hotel staff were friendly and eager to help, they often seemed overwhelmed and unable to effectively address the issues at hand. Their good intentions were overshadowed by the hotel's overall poor management and lack of resources. In conclusion, the hotel itself fell short in cleanliness and organization. I would not recommend this hotel unless significant improvements are made. There are surely better options nearby that can provide a more pleasant experience.
This hotel is a beyond a disaster it’s extremely another level of disgustingly dirty there was blood on the sheets, pillows and quilts and lipstick and makeup and weird smells, the tables were greasy and the bathroom literally had poop on the wall. There was dust everywhere and cigarette butts on the floor and unimaginable disgusting stuff everywhere. I have never ever in my entire living life experienced a worst night than the one I did sleeping in that hotel. We unfortunately had to because we reached very late at night and had no other option. The walls are so thin we could hear the people on the other room like we were staying with them. The smell of smoking from the other room was awful and through the vents. The service was beyond bad we asked them to clean and they said we had to wait till the morning. There were small insects on the bed and on the carpet! With all what I described I still can not describe what we experienced and saw! I won’t even give it a 0 id suggest a place like that not to even be listed as a hotel!
