Left to stay at another hotel and made a huge mistake. Top notch on everything. Food, pool, view. Excellent! Would recommend it to everyone. Mao, the server at the restaurant pool side, was amazing. She was the kindest attentive person ive ever met. She deserves 10 stars. If you go and see her tell her hello from Dave. She will know. Wonderful lady.
If you're looking for a budget-friendly place to sleep and don't expect much more, it does the job. The room was comfortable enough and had the basics, but that's about it. Don’t expect extras like an iron or much in terms of service. One of the biggest disappointments was the breakfast. The options were extremely limited and honestly not worth paying extra for. I’d recommend booking the room only and grabbing breakfast from elsewhere. It’s place to stay if you're keeping things simple. But it’s hard to see how this qualifies as a 4-star hotel. Feels more like a budget 2-3 star property. Manage your expectations, and you’ll be fine.
The hotel is located on a charmless and rather dirty street. I made a reservation, but when I spoke to the receptionist, he didn't look at me and spoke to my Thai girlfriend instead. I corrected him several times, but he continued to ignore me... I asked for a room high up with a sea view, but we ended up with a huge building in front of the window and just a glimpse of the sea to the right and left. Special mention for the shower, which is really great. Good water pressure, really cold water when you want it, everything is clean, super. The bed is also very good. But the worst thing is the air conditioning. It's hell. Mechanical and water noises even when it's turned off. We spent the night with toilet paper in our ears and woke up more tired than the day before. What a disappointment. And even if the air conditioning had been okay, watch out for the new club across from the hotel. Loud music and shouting until midnight. It wouldn't take much to improve this hotel, especially since it doesn't offer the lowest prices! Translated with DeepL.com (free version)
