The Tower House B&B

I can’t recommend the Towerhouse B&B highly enough. The room was beautifully decorated & spotlessly clean. The breakfast was delicious, first there was juice, coffee/tea & homemade granola with yogurt & berry compote, then a choice of a fry, salmon omelette or the fluffiest blueberry pancakes I’ve ever eaten, all served with sourdough toast. There was also a lovely courtyard with tables & chairs so you can have a relaxing chat or glass of wine & a doorway that led to the riverbank. We will definitely be back in the very near future.

Located right in the heart of Thomastown, the Tower house is within walking distance practically everything , with eateries and bars just a stones throw away . There is free onsite parking , or indeed plenty of onstreet parking if you don't get a space. The venue itself is a renovated Abbey stables which offers a cute and scenic location, with a little gate leading right out to the riverside, where beautiful walks can be had. The rooms was bright and clean, set in an art deco vibe, it was an absolute pleasure to see real plants in the room, bringing a touch of freshness . The bed was like a luxury cloud , the room appointed with everything you could need, including possibly the cutest coffee nook I've ever seen. The gentleman running the place was absolutely lovely and so very helpful , telling us a little of the history and providing us with a most delicious breakfast of home hade granola, yoghurt and compote, followed by incredible sourdough roast and a mini fry for me , and blueberry pancakes so fluffy they looked like crumpets, for my wife. All in all a wonderful experience, and we will definitely be back again.

Stayed 1 night as we were passing through, but had a wonder stay. The location was awesome with the courtyard and door leading to the river’s edge. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly and made us a fresh salmon and egg omelet breakfast that was delicious along with the fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, and toast!
