Excellent family run pub / hotel. All the staff are super lovely and friendly. The rooms have everything you need and are clean and nicely decorated. The location is excellent and everything you need is a short walk away. The band they had on the Saturday night we stayed were fab and a great way to end our trip away. Breakfast is delicious and all you can eat, with the eggs cooked to order. 100% would recommend and will stay again.
Amazing pizza, only 'bad' note was that my grandfather was given a tuna and cheese sandwich in stead of a toastie, and he loved it anyway. Definitely recommend! Also, it is dog friendly also, I went just for a snack not for the hotel. The surrounding area is full of history, and a picture from ( year unknown ) that pictures the surrounding street and the pub itself.
The rooms are cozy! The beer garden is lovely, the breakfast is just ok. The loud music on Friday and Saturday nights are not for everyone but for me it was fine, the music ends and then it's quiet again.
