The Towers Ardudwy

There is no elevator to get upstairs, and this specific apartment is on the third floor, so this is something to consider if you have difficulty getting up stairs. Contrary to the listing, there was NO handheld shower in the en suite bathroom. We booked for 4 people to stay and all of us staying had to use the one shower. That said, the one shower was very good, although a fairly small cubicle. The beds were BEYOND uncomfortable. You could see upon closer inspection just how poor the quality of the bed and mattress was. We had a terrible first nights sleep, and had to improvise and put cushions and pillows on top of the mattress in order to be able to get any sleep at all for the remaining 5 nights, and we were exhausted after multiple nights of way less than adequate sleep by the end of our stay. The kitchen is pretty well set up, with everything we needed to cook and eat in the cabinets. Toilet paper provided not enough for the time booked. There was a list of items to bring, however this was not on that list. We were told on enquiry we would not be given any more. Based on the lack of sleep due to uncomfortable beds and misleading information about the amenities we would not stay at the Towers Castell again. The view was lovely, but as far as we're concerned it's not enough to excuse the owners/management company apparently thinking they can use a lovely view to ignore basic comforts like decent beds and lie about the amenities actually available on their property.
