The Trafalgar St. James London Curio Collection by Hilton

My wife and I really enjoyed staying at the Trafalgar St. James. The hotel and rooms are so nicely decorated, nice ambiance. We had drinks more than once at the Rooftop bar and had a great meal at the Rockwell restaurant. The staff was probably the best part of our visit. Everyone we dealt with at the hotel was nice, professional and helpful. We were greeted warmly when we left the hotel and when we returned, no matter the time of day. And of course the location is great. Did not have any noise issues. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

My wife and I stayed at The Trafalgar St. James this past week, from 27JUL to 01AUG. Prior to retirement, I flew 250 flights/yr, stayed 225+ nights/yr in hotels. I’m stating this because I think I have an idea of what ‘good looks like’. Let me say this, The Trafalgar St. James sets that standard. Period. LOCATION: The location is great. Close to everything: attractions, dining, etc. STAFF/PEOPLE: From greeting, to check-in, to information, to service staff, EVERYONE was AWESOME! They’re pleasant, attentive, kind, conversational, and always engaging. You can tell that they love what they do. THE HOTEL: You won’t go wrong here. Our suite was spacious, comfortable, and always well attended. I couldn’t ask for anything more in the best suite back in the U.S.. DINING: Please do visit The Rooftop! The Bartender is AMAZING! The view is great! The staff is incredibly friendly and engaging! RESTAURANT - We had dinner one night. Not the ‘usual’ hotel dinner experience. Dinner was great! Food was awesome! Service incredible! Manager Umberto was very attentive! OK, listen, I don’t have time to write reviews. I’m retired. I travel extensively even in my retirement. However, I want to take the time to recognize the experiences that are truly DIFFERENT - The Trafalgar St. James IS one of those. Cheers! Kevin DeLillo

Curio Collection hotels are still relatively new products to us. We’re certainly very familiar with Hilton brands, however, and this place did not disappoint. The hotel hit all the major buttons: fine service, a good clean room, and cordial staff — especially the doormen. This property also has something you can’t replicate: location, location, and location. Your steps from Trafalgar Square, the National Gallery, the Tube and busses, St. James Park; and whatever isn’t right outside your door is within walking distance, even for people like us who prefer more sights and fewer strides.
