The Twin Fin Hotel

Rooms are very dated. Some smart person designed the AC units in the bathroom. So yes the return air filter and pump are just above the bathroom. So when you have a full room, guess what… the bathroom vents to the room anytime someone uses it. It wasn’t so bad. It’s pretty well sealed. But it is sort of a pain at times. Rooms need some updating. They are pretty outdated. You’re paying a premium for location though. Right across the street from the beach. Hotel lobby is outdoors. Has a foul odor at times. Service is exceptional though. Very helpful front desk and cleaning crew. The resort fees are excessive and seem like a rip off with how dirty and dated everything was over all. But hey, it’s a heavy traffic resort hotel in a premium location on the water. It’s to be expected. Over all great stay though. Just might not stay again.

Nice location. Hidden fees SUCK!! $80 resort fee. $54 parking. Rooms are ok but not worth the additional fees. The elevators are slow. Staff is nice. We had beach front balcony and it was incredibly loud at night. Also, every night we returned to our room there was a garlic fish smell. Pretty sure the kitchen somehow vented into the rooms. We stayed for 5 days, and were hit with $400 for resort fees. Pass it up and fine someplace else.

I am never one to do a review but this is very much a must read. My family stayed at this hotel based on reviews and let me tell you. DO NOT STAY HERE. Mind you we had 4 separate rooms on different floors. Each and everyone of us had horrible experiences here with upgraded rooms. There is no way this should be a 4 star hotel at all. The rooms are old and dated at best. Whatever pictures are posted online do not believe them. A/C went out in several of our rooms more than once and it was a journey to get anyone to look at the thermostat. The valet is a JOKE. We arrived at the hotel for them to tell our party to go park at the zoo or the street as they were full and couldn’t help us nor did they even try! We were in line with MULTIPLE people checking out early, trying to leave and or find other accommodations. The best thing about this hotel was it was directly across from the beach but honestly spend your money else where. Whatever you need to do save more budget more just for the love of all things. DO NOT STAY HERE.
