Gorgeous hotel the rooms are absolutely beautiful and so are the views on the terrace we ate at the restaurant and the food was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced too for what you get! We used the spa and had treatments the staff were so lovely and the treatments were top notch nothing was too much trouble during our stay everywhere was well kept and clean it's very modern and would definitely stay for longer next time they have singers on of a Friday and Saturday which was fab and breakfast was one of if not the best we have had fresh, hot and delicious they had different fruits, cereals and a buffet style hot selection that was stunning and by some miracle the toaster actually toasted the bread 😆 with colour and crunch 😆 Pastries different coffees and juices available too all in all such an enjoyable stay in a stunning hotel and location!

My partner and I stayed here for a couple of nights in April '25. The rooms are very nice, it's a quiet location and the reception staff were excellent. There was a small issue where we were woken up due to a staff mistake. The spa and gym facilities are very good. We didn't eat here having read other reviews and seen the prices. We would stay here again.

Stayed at The Tytherington Hotel in Macclesfield for a short break. Overall, it was okay—nice enough, but a few things could’ve been better. We were welcomed warmly on arrival, but unfortunately didn’t get the welcome drinks we were promised, as the bar was unattended. When we asked about them at checkout, we were told alcohol couldn’t be served until after 12pm due to licensing, which was a bit disappointing. That said, they let us swap them for soft drinks, so at least they tried to make it right. One major issue was the fire alarm going off at 4am, apparently triggered by someone taking a shower. There was no clear communication about what to do after we’d assembled outside, and no apology or follow-up from staff until we brought it up ourselves. In response, they gave us a later checkout as a goodwill gesture. The hotel itself is part of a golf resort, which gave it a peaceful setting. The food was alright—nothing to rave about, but it did the job. All in all, not a bad stay, but a few small details added up to make it feel a bit underwhelming. Room was fine, staff were pleasant, and with a little more attention to service, it could easily be much better.
