This is a must see location.. the rooms are decorated with some nice antiques. The building is so amazing on the inside.. superb place for photography. We loved it so much we changed our reservations to spend the last 2 nights here... Great service. Lovely views. Just an unusual place to stay. It's large, yet quaint.
Alright, if you're hitting up Nashville, you gotta check out The Union Station Nashville Yards. This isn't just some regular hotel; it's an old train station, and they've done an awesome job making it super nice while keeping all that cool old vibe. When you walk into the lobby, it's just wild – huge ceilings, all these cool details. You can almost imagine trains pulling up. The rooms are really comfy and quiet, which is great after a day of being out and about. It’s a solid spot to relax. It’s right there on Broadway, so you're close to a lot of stuff. If you want a place with some character and not just another cookie-cutter hotel, this is it. Definitely worth checking out!
The absolute worst experience at any Marriott property ever. We went to Nashville for the Coldplay concert, which was amazing. Union Station was conveniently located, and the valet attendants were great. But, that is where the positives ended. $2700 for 3 nights got us a room in the basement with a “private” patio that was filthy and a view of construction everywhere. Construction workers could literally see into our room. Between the noise, the view and the disgusting patio I felt ripped off. I am a Marriott rewards member and have stayed in many Marriott hotels and resorts. This was so out of line with what I was used to I seriously doubt my next stay will be at a Marriott anywhere. When I told the staff about my concerns I was told “well, its a nice room when there is no construction.” When I submitted my survey the response was “I hope you give us a second chance next time you are in Nashville”. No one at any point offered for us to change rooms or offer compensation. Update: Once again, I was told to give them another chance and they would treat me right this time. Why? Why would I or anyone give them ANOTHER chance when they have offered NOTHING to make this trip “right”. It was a terrible room, with terrible service. They admitted this was below their standards. So, why am I not being offered a refund? Terrible customer service. This place doesn’t deserve to be called a Marriott.
