The Upper Largo Hotel & Restaurant

Had an absolutely lovely meal here. I had the fish and chips as my main meal and it was lovely. My son had the steak pie which was huge and was very nice. My daughter had mac and cheese again she loved it and ate the lot. Some good beers on tap. My reason for marking a star off the service was that attention to drinks was poor. Had to try and get someone’s attention each time and then wait for a new drink.

Didn’t stay as I live in Fife. However I had early dinner today and it was really good. Owners got really lucky to have such fantastic staff. Also the place is spotless clean and just so happened to to visit on steak special day. Perfectly cooked and that peppercorn sauce is the best I’ve ever had. Such a generous portion for the cost. Definitely going back for the Sunday roast next week.

Stopped for dinner here & had lobster rolls. Very nice place & food generous portions & delicious. Staff were very nice showing us to a seat when we asked to be in the shade.
