The Usual Brussels

I had a wonderful experience at The Usual. It was my first time in Brussels. The staff were so accommodating and pleasant. The ladies who work at the restaurant were also very friendly and made breakfast an enjoyable experience. The room was clean, well equipped and I felt safe at the hotel. The hotel is located very centrally but on a quieter street, and so I had no issues with noise. I would definitely stay here again!

Loved this place – stylish, smart, and super well located! We stayed at The Usual in Brussels and honestly, I was impressed. The location is perfect — right next to a metro station and an easy walk to the city centre. Super convenient for exploring! The room was on the smaller side, but it was so well designed that it never felt cramped. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was beautifully done — great materials and layout. Even without a wardrobe, they made the most of the space with clever metal racks, hangers, and a cool bedside table that can be adjusted for extra room. You can really tell a lot of thought went into every detail. They don’t offer daily cleaning for short stays (part of their eco-friendly approach), but since we were only there for two nights, it wasn’t an issue at all. Check-in was a breeze — we did it online and just used a QR code to get in. Super quick and easy. All in all, I loved the vibe, the smart design, and the comfort. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Brussels!

I was upgraded to a better room which was a very pleasant surprise. I really loved the room. The mattress, pillows and bedding were very comfortable. Great big TV. The room's decor was really lovely, the space is very well utilised. Nice view out of the window and the early bird through their website rate was great. Location of the hotel is not bad, the short distance to the metro is convenient and it's actually not that far from the center, the area looked nice but felt a little sketchy, although I don't know Brussels well. I didn't try the restaurant or breakfast, honestly the prices seemed a bit high to me for what it was. Overall a very comfortable stay.
