The Vagabond Club Singapore a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

The hotel was broody and hipster. We loved it!! It had a great vibe to it and I absolutely loved the smell they had! This is a great location if you want to do a walk around to Little India side and Arab Lane. Extremely convenient and safe. Staff were amazing and they even called us a cab to take us to the airport. Will definitely come back. Do note- the rooms aren’t really That big. If you have children, I recommend looking at the size of the room closely.

The location here is very convenient, especially to the food and the local night bars. There is also 7-Eleven and there some coffee shops near the hotel. The room is kind of a little small but well designed and organized. The working staff here are very welcome coming, I was welcomed by AQIEL, He was warm hearted and professional. The breakfast here is very simple. It’s not buffet. You choose some simple dishes from the menu. There is no gym or swimming pool in this hotel but They have corporation with another hotel nearby, which can provide fitness service.

This was the second time I stayed in this hotel. The first time was when it first launched back in 2016. Overall, it's still a beautiful property and in a great part of Singapore. But I found it to be almost too quiet - every time I arrived, there was no one in the lounge, no one staffing the bar. Furthermore, my one criticism of the experience was that the website on Marriot listed arranged transfers to the airport as an amenity. After speaking with the hotel staff, I was assured this was a mistake, and within 24 hours, this was removed from the website. Still, it was a bit misleading that was written and I was not given a definite confirmation of yes or no when I actually needed the transfer. I felt the hotel had a better boutique sense when it first launched, compared to now after it has been rolled into the Marriot portfolio.
