An unforgettable stay! I think the best view on the island. Possibly one of the best views in the world. The sunset is unbelievable. It is so private and so peaceful there. The staff are top notch, the rooms true to island architecture. Very relaxing, calming stay. Close to many outstanding fine dining experience restaurants. The service was unbelievable. Chris, would notice when I was up early and magically he would appear with my morning cappuccino. The breakfasts are wonderful. I would definitely stay there again. The pool outside our room was so welcome, perfect temperature. Look no further best hotel on the island.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A True Santorini Sanctuary Staying at The Vasilicos was an unforgettable experience—intimate, elegant, and filled with heart. With only 7 beautifully appointed suites perched above the caldera, the property offers the most spectacular sunset views—without the crowds of Oia. Its location in Imerovigli is perfection: peaceful yet close to wonderful restaurants (Surupo was a favorite!), charming shops, a great pharmacy, and cozy cafés. But what truly made our stay extraordinary were the people. Dimitris and Chris are incredible hosts—warm, attentive, and full of local insight. Every detail was thoughtful: spotless rooms, dreamy beds, strong showers with lovely toiletries… and the breakfasts! Chris worked magic each morning, navigating 70 steps with a tray of handmade Greek pastries, Naxos cheeses, yogurt, fresh juices, “Greek press” coffee, and his daily surprise brunch bread and cookies—pure joy. Evenings brought wine, light bites, and the calming beauty of our private space. Whether we were diving, hiking, or simply taking in the view, The Vasilicos welcomed us back like family. If you’re looking for old-world Santorini charm with luxurious comfort and deeply personal care, make The Vasilicos your home away from home. We can’t wait to return!

This place is amazing. Originally a family home, it's been converted to a 7-Room luxury retreat. Chris, and Demetrius are incredibly friendly and accommodating. We just can't say enough about how great they are. From the moment you book, until the moment you leave, they will treat you like royalty. There are several rooms with private soaking pools...PERFECT for relaxing in the morning or after a long day of adventure. The community pool is perfectly situated at the base of the complex, looking out across the Caldera. If you want to experience Santorini, but want to avoid the crowds then you will NOT be disappointed in this location. It's a 15 minute walk to the heart of FIRA and a 20 minute taxi to OIA. There is no hustle bustle. The sunrise and sunset views are extraordinary. We will definitely keep this on a list of places to return.
