The Ven at Embassy Row Washington D.C. a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Absolutely loved this hotel! It is also one of the very few hotels in the DC area that has a pool let alone a rooftop pool. Enjoyed DC after our trip to Shenandoah National Park and all the amenities in the restaurant food was excellent. I would definitely come back to this hotel with the rooftop pool. It's a little bit small but it gets the job done on a 94° day. They also have a full open bar at the top connected to the pool and after 5:00 p.m. it switches over to adult-only.

Absolutely incredible stay!! A GEM! I had the pleasure of an extended stay here due to some cosmic arrangements. The staff is absolutely PHENOMENAL, and I happened to come during a week of AMAZING programming around the art gallery downstairs which made it even better. I have only glowing words. . . from the Valley Brook Tea house downstairs (and LOVELY and patient owners eager to explore nuances in tea flavors/methods) to the five-star reception at the front desk/lobby. Shoutout to Jorge (made the best craft cocktails EVER at the bar) and ROBERT for bringing such good energy and attentiveness. Also shoutout to ELI (went above and beyond to ensure a good stay and provided local context), MOHAMMED and NEGASH for peak service, as well as Ms. WANDA and the other lovely ladies at the front desk who assisted me with my several misplaced room keys. PERFECT LOCATION, walking distance to anything you'd need. Beautiful, unique amenities (gallery, rooftop bar, well-designed rooms that do not feel stuffy). Prepare for stairs if you must ascend the roof and note that the daily food fees may be waived.** The meals I did order here were FIRE. 10/5 would recommend!!!

Nice hotel with good sized rooms. Friendly staff, great cleaning service, and close to lots of amenities. A/C was a bit low but it was the hottest week in DC and it was working hard. Definitely a nice spot if you’re looking for a location close to things to do.
