The View Hotel

Very nice hotel, service was great, breakfast good quality, staff friendly. We spent most of the time on the beach, but there are many swimmingpools as well. The apartments will need some renovation to meet the 4star quality, but for this price it was totally acceptable. Thank you for the great stay!

A Perfect Babymoon Escape My husband, a friend, and I recently stayed at this resort for our Babymoon, and it was a truly special experience. Being pregnant, we requested an apartment closer to the beach for convenience. Not only did the staff fulfill this request, but they went above and beyond by giving us a larger, more cozy apartment than expected. It was spacious, beautifully equipped, and felt like a home away from home. The staff at the hotel was fantastic, especially Maya at reception. She was warm, welcoming, and always available to assist with any questions or concerns we had. Maya made our stay feel incredibly personalized, ensuring that everything was perfect for us from the moment we arrived. Chandra (I think that was his name) in the restaurant deserves a special mention as well. His friendly greetings and attention during breakfast really set the tone for the day. Speaking of breakfast, it was absolutely amazing! There was a wide variety of options, all fresh and delicious, with an incredible view to match. The whole breakfast team was excellent, making every morning a delight. While the weather in September wasn't the best—lots of overcast days—the resort’s facilities more than made up for it. The gym is large and well-equipped, and the spa facilities were exactly what we needed to relax. We loved the numerous pools, jacuzzi, sauna, and of course, the stunning views from everywhere in the resort. The à la carte menu at the various on-site restaurants was another highlight. The food was always fresh, well-prepared, and the service was impeccable. Plus, the prices were surprisingly affordable given the quality. We’re already planning to return next year with our entire family. We’ll definitely be booking 4-5 apartments for a 2-week stay because Wyndham Grand Novi Vinodolski has truly become our go-to getaway spot. Thank you to the entire team for making our Babymoon such a memorable and special experience. We can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend!

**Disappointing and Below Expectations** My partner and I stayed at this hotel in Croatia for 330 euros per night, and unfortunately, the experience was far below what we expected. Upon arrival, we found the room's balcony extremely dirty, with even a trash bag left there (photos attached). Additionally, the room's floor was also very dirty, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this category. Another issue was that the room's phone simply didn't work, which made it impossible for us to contact the reception without going down in person. To make matters worse, the shower didn’t heat up. When we reported the issue to the receptionist, we were informed that the heater and light switches, which are side by side, needed to be in the same position, and that it would take around 15 minutes for the water to warm up. We followed the instructions and waited for over half an hour, but the water remained cold. It is unacceptable that such details are not mentioned during check-in or at least clearly marked in the room with a sticker or instructions. These issues turned what should have been a pleasant stay into a frustrating and disappointing experience. I expected much more given the price and the hotel's reputation. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place based on my experience.
