The Views Oasis

We stayed here for a week with our two children and found the hotel was perfectly catered for families. There were activities each day, indoor and outdoor play areas, pedal karts to ride and a sectioned off pool for the kids. We had the buffet breakfasts and dinners which were great and the hotel gym was very well equipped!

We went abroad to Madeira to the views oasis and despite the first day which was appalling specially when the staff were incompetent and they had to fix the lock on our room door other than that the food was excellent, the staff were very attentive and the location was good, and there was lots of places to go too. The pool albeit smallish was a freshwater pool way better than a chlorinated one. Furthermore, the gym had great equipment. However, beware that this hotel is a money grabbing hotel and expects you to pay for many low-key things that does not make sense. I do recommend this hotel but expect all the additional things you have to pay for.

After looking at the reviews and images I had high expectations. Booked a twin room for 2 people, Arrived at the hotel at 12, check in was at 15:00, we were given free drinks and a local desert while we waited. Time comes round, at check in time, room was not ready for another hour, so we were given a compensation voucher, time comes for our room, we were given the wrong room, so had to go and change it again. First day, bad impression, but, the facilities are amazing, great vibe and aura of the hotel, great location by the sea, free shuttle bus service to funchal, breakfast is great too. Rooms are a tad small, but still great, balcony is lovely and we get a sea view room.
