The Vineyard

I came here for afternoon tea with friends today, and it was honestly the best I’ve had. The quality of the food and the attention to detail were outstanding. Everything was perfectly presented in beautiful location. It was my friend’s birthday, and they added a lovely touch with a “Happy Birthday” chocolate, which made it feel extra special. The customer service was exceptional, and the staff were incredibly attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. I’m already looking forward to coming back! I couldn’t recommend highly enough, and a lovely way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

Lovely little hotel (and my husband and I have high standards when it comes to hotels). The grounds are lovely, the rooms have beautiful antique furniture and are warm and charming, the bed is super comfortable and great sheets. The staff are friendly and full of enthusiasm. The food is amazing! We ordered room service because we were too tired to do the fine dining option and the fish and chips were so good. We stayed Easter weekend and a lovely little touch was that there was a complementary, handmade Easter egg waiting for us in the room (which was delicious - made by the pastry chefs). This hotel has really thought of all the small touches, like very heavy, high quality gowns and a little carton of milk in your fridge rather than the usual long life milk sachets. The gym was ok and the spa was nice. Wish we’d had time for a treatment. We would definitely stay again.

Amazing hotel with great staff and service. Spa facilities are very well managed with only limited people using them at the same time. This makes the experience very pleasant. Rooms are clean, spacious with amazing decor. Grounds are perfectly maintained. Restaurant has amazing service and food and the tasting menu with the wine pairing is a brilliant experience. The Chef and the Sommelier were brilliant. We will be coming back soon.
