Nice Hotel, good location to go to the pagoda. Very helpful staff.

Nice hotel with very clean and upscale appearance, if perhaps a little dated. The old Mercedes in the Foyer gave a good impact. Wish I could take it with me. They advertised as a 5 star hotel but not sure I could give it 5. The room smelled awful due to smoking although it was quite clean. We used room service for our meals but were unpleasantly surprised at the very small offerings for this. At least they had french fries so my daughter was pleased. Breakfast was good and plentiful with ample choice available. I was surprised they had soft drinks available and accessible but when I took one was asked to pay. View from the room was overlooking a sporting stadium and swimming pool - neither of which was used while we were here a couple of nights. Room was quiet. TV had lots of channels and air conditioning was super cool which we definitely needed as it was boiling hot outside. Supermarket next door was handy. Not much to see or do locally but if you want a tour, this is a decent place to stay at night. Free wifi with easy access was good. Overall I would say 3-4 stars but at least it’s in a good location and a lot cleaner than other hotels we’ve visited. Would probably stay here again next time.

The hotel is very old and infested mainly with cockroaches in the restaurant area while the rooms are quite dirty and full of bedbugs that bite you all night. Impossible to sleep. The staff are friendly but the hotel needs to be closed and deep cleaned and all bed stuff should be removed and thrown away impossible to disinfect. The hotel was closed during Covid and has now reopened without adequate disinfestation
