This hotel was beautiful. The front desk associate Edgar made our experience better than expected. He was very accommodating and professional. He took great care of us and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed including a beautiful lake view room. Thank you to all the staff. Because of you we will definitely book at a The Wade our next trip to Chicago. Keep up the great work!
Very friendly staff supper clean rooms. Parking for large vehicles. Great bartenders gabby,Melisa , and nick are all great . The weekend night security guards are friendly I enjoyed their company. The cleaning crew and maintenance staff was very friendly and seem to do a very good job at keeping it clean and maintained. met lots of friendly locals and others travelers. very safe place will go back to this one every time I’m in Chicago the view of the lake is amazing.
Pros: Staff was great. Location is great. You can walk to the pier or Michigan Ave. You can also see the pier’s summer fireworks from the 7th floor by the pool if you have a city view room. Cons: There were issues with plumbing. Water was scorching hot in the sink even when the cold water was turned on and the toilet had issues flushing. The beds were so small. I believe they were full size.
