I recently stayed at Hotel Palacio Alcázar during my visit to Seville and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel has a charming character and is situated in a fantastic location, just a stone’s throw from the Real Alcázar and the cathedral. One thing to keep in mind is that the hotel does not have direct road access, so you’ll need to walk a short distance with your luggage — something to consider if you’re arriving with heavy bags. The room was clean and comfortable, though the linen could use some improvement in terms of quality. However, the highlight of my stay was definitely the rooftop breakfast. Starting the day with a good cappuccino and a beautiful view of the historic skyline was a memorable experience. A nice boutique hotel with a few quirks, but the location and rooftop setting make it worth considering for a short stay in Seville.

Great location, strong WiFi, air con and shower water pressure. Clean. Noise at night meant it was hard to sleep. The hotel is on a very quiet side street/plaza but the noise at night of streets being cleaned, glass being collected and emptied, trucks coming and going was just ridiculous. We could hear reception during the night and someone was doing something outside our room (ground floor by reception)at 3am. Sounded like the handle of a bucket going up and down. For noise reasons wouldn’t stay again.

This is certainly NOT a 4-STAR HOTEL!!! I have been to many hotels like B&B, 3 star, 4 star, apart hotels, etc. Everything in this hotel reminded me of a very basic 3-star hotel. I would not give more than 3 stars for quality. Self assigning it as 4 stars sounds like fraudulent marketing to me. If the owner was honest and advertised it correctly as a 3-star hotel, I would give a 5-star review. I don't like to be deceived by false marketing. Price: €150/night + about €12/night for local fees & taxes. Room: Very basic room with bed, 1 chair, 1 tiny bed table. Little decor. There is no table for work. 1 kettle with only 2 tiny packets of instant coffee given (no tea). The room was at the steet level and had little natural light with a small window. Also someone was smoking in front of it. Breakfast: Very basic buffet with basic continental breakfast served for €12,50. No warm food, just basic bakery, dairy, ham, jams, etc. Only apples and avocados served as fresh fruit/vegetables. Orange "juice" is high concentrate (tastes like cheap"Sunny" concentrate from supermarket). The hotel lacks dining room, so food is served on the terrace without roof cover and regardless of weather. Facilities: No facilities like pool, spa, gym, etc. Bathroom: Bathtub and bidet. Clean. Basic lit with shampoo, gel, and soap + slippers. Decor: Super basic with little warmth. Reminds of private medical clinic, although I have seen clinics with better design. Service: Friendly and helpful. The only thing worth 4 stars was a view from the terrace, 24 reception and location.
