Our All Together Group from Birmingham visited iron bridge today. We were 11 in our group and our first stop was to have lunch at The Water Rat Inn. This place is in an amazing location near to the Iron bridge. The restaurant is really good with very nice seating inside, outside and in the ground overlooking the river and another bridge. Plenty of free parking available on site. One can walk along the river to the famous Iron bridge which we all did after having lunch. Talking about Lunch, we were seated inside with nice ambience overlooking the car park and grounds next to river and bridge. The staff were very welcoming and helpful in talking our food and drinks orders. The price is reasonable. When the food was served, it looked so appealing to look at and good potion sizes. All items eaten were really tasty and delicious. We did not have room for dessert (may be next time) Thank you to all the staff for looking after us and the service provided. We definitely recommend this place to all and will definitely return.
Went here for a meal with family absolutely loved it. The food was excellent good choice of beers. Service was spot on there when you needed them but not overbearing. I can't fault them will definitely be returning
Turned up out the blue one evening and it was quiet but it was a Monday and close to food service ending however the staff were courteous, attentive and helpful. Ordered kids and adults mains and they were all great, maybe a slight criticism would be the burgers were a little tough to chew but enjoyed all the same. Drinks all seemed fairly standard priced. Lovely setting but not the best walk with kids with narrow footpaths towards Ironbridge
