Prime location in Seaton Sluice overlooking the picturesque harbour. Called in for lunch. Fish, chips and Mushy peas with tartar sauce. Food was first class and very reasonably priced considering seafood prices today. Service was also excellent, brilliant staff, we will return soon. Best to book a table ahead of your visit.

Came here the week after getting married. I have always wanted to try the whale and chips. My missus and I came over on the bus. Not hard to find at all. I had a bit of a wait for the food, but I didn't mind. My fish when it came was huge. Plenty of chips and all the advertised sauces. And bread and butter. I managed to finish the fish. But the chips were a step too far Book in advance if you're planning a trip, just to make sure. Lovely place. Great food. Reasonable prices.

It was quite difficult to find a parking place but after finding a space we headed into the place. The location for this place is right on the coast hence the popularity to park there and it was free. The restaurant was fully booked but they managed to fit us in the bar as we turned up on spec. They do a special “fishy Friday” but you can get this any day of the week. Two fish and chips with either garden peas or mushy peas. Tea or coffee and bread and butter for £20. When they arrived we got two large pieces of Haddock and hand cut chips and tartar sauce. I really didn’t think the portions would be so big for £20 and we both couldn’t finish the meal and we never touched the bread and butter. The meal was piping hot and tasted very fresh and flavoursome. Service was excellent the only downside was the decor and furniture could do with a refresh as was looking a bit tired. Fantastic value meal.
