The Welsh Hills Inn

We recently celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary at Welsh Hills. It was (as always) an impeccably relaxing, romantic, and rejuvenating experience. Jeff and Bobbi are truly perfect hosts, real people who want nothing more than to provide the best experience for their guests. Bobbi is always remembering little details about returning guests and is ready to share stories of the art, artists, and local vendors. She never stops moving- caring for her guests and keeping the rooms and surroundings in amazing shape! Jeff is a chef among the best! A different and delightful breakfast was served fresh each morning, and this year we even treated ourselves to one of Jeff's fine dinner experiences (served on the porch with a backdrop of nature). Massages, yoga, fishing and clay pigeon shooting are among the activities guests can take advantage of. The inn is a quick drive to fun little stops in Granville and Newark. And when you're ready for more top notch relaxation, you'll be ushered back in by the Inn's furry ambassadors Wrigley and Dakota. A stay at Welsh Hills will never disappoint. The tagline rejuvenation redefined is no joke! We're already looking to book our next stay.

Once again a spectacular experience at Welsh Hills Inn. Can only echo all the other reviews regarding superior hospitality, setting, atmosphere, charm and accommodations. Jeff is an amazing chef - the MOST delicious omelet i have ever enjoyed. Watching the day break on the east-facing porch with Wrigley and Dakota (the canines) along with hot coffee frames the beginning of a perfect day. We celebrated our 43d Anniversary here in mid-April. Could not have asked for a more wonderful experience. Granville is superb, nearby Newark has so much to enjoy to include food options! The most important quality, above everything else, is that Bobbi and Jeff possess the rare quality of genuine and sincere grace and hospitality. You are welcomed into their home. They share their family pictures and the stories behind them, along with a spectacular art collection, an incredible array of books, laughter, warm conversation and family integration. These are two of the most lovely people you will ever meet. And The Inn reflects all those qualities!

Can't say enough about Bobbi and Jeff and the Welsh Hills Inn. We had a tremendous time. Bobbi's attention to detail and friendless is exceptional and Jeff's cooking was truly world class. Beautiful setting and home and felt like staying at a family members house on a weekend getaway.
