The Wesley Euston

The hotel is very centrally located and well connected. Some minor drawbacks could be noted regarding the condition of the rooms, but a huge plus goes to the amazing staff! Everyone was so helpful and friendly—truly exceptional. The breakfast chef also deserves a mention. You can watch him working in the kitchen from the buffet area, and he even regularly checked the temperature of the food. And the friendly driver Maksud, who was arranged by the hotel, also deserves a mention. Many thanks to all of you!

While the Wesley had a nice staff and a good breakfast buffet... This is not a 4 star hotel, objectively based on amenities... This is a 2 star hotel. I paid far too much for a room here, $220 USD. I was boiled alive in my room on the top floor. It had tons of sun exposure with little in the way of drapes or shades, only one of two windows opened and one small stick fan to cool the room. It was crazy how hot it was when I was here... But it was not dealt with at all. There wasn't air conditioning ( I googled the wall unit in my room to be sure... It was heat only) and the fan set up was completely inadequate. BUG BITES.... Probably because I had to have the window open and there's a lot of rubbish outside due to construction, I had bites all over me when I woke up. The room probably never went lower than 26 degrees C...80 degrees F.... When I was in there. It was definitely at least 90 degrees in the afternoon. Very very uncomfortable, too much for what it was and I booked on their site. I can't recommend it.

This is not remotely close to a 4 star hotel and definitely my worst experience because we could NOT sleep. 1 water bottle cap has mold, 2 steaming hot room without AC, 3 actual room looks different than pictures 4 cooling fan blowing warm air out 5 stained paper label on the bed 5 we paid over $200 which and feel like a scam. We chose it because we need to take a train in the morning but it’s better to look elsewhere.
