This hotel was very convenient for our concert at dodger stadium. There's also a bus that takes you right to Little Tokyo for 50 cents. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding areas. We walked to art museums, food, etc. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I could see the Hollywood sign from my room though it was in the distance. There is a super cool pool with an amazing view of skyscrapers. My bf also used the gym both days and really liked some of the equipment. It's a really stunning building and they call out different movies that were filmed in this building. I also saw a lot of people checking out who I could clearly tell were there for the MCR concert. The valet was convenient but expensive but you have to pay for it if you want to bring a car. I really wanted my car to be charged as well but there was limited availability unfortunately. Downtown wasn't as bad to drive around as I thought it would be.
Overall we had a nice experience staying here. Getting there was not a big deal. I like the views from the room. However, for a hotel that promises to be decent or have quality of service they never cleaned the room, took the trash out or even changed towels which had us a little bit confused since we have stayed in cheaper hotels with less starts and our experience has been somehow better.
I had a disappointing stay at this hotel. While the location is convenient, the service and cleanliness fell short of expectations. Upon check-in, our first room had not been properly cleaned - the bed had stains and was unclean. The staff did move us to another room, which was in better condition. However, housekeeping did not service our room during our entire stay, despite my specific request for cleaning. The staff seemed overwhelmed and weren't as helpful as I would have hoped. I understand hotels face challenges, but basic cleanliness and room maintenance are essential for guest comfort. The location remains the hotel's strongest asset, but I hope management can address these service issues to improve the guest experience.
