The Westin Chicago North Shore

Beautiful well appointed hotel! This is a great place to stay. Staff was extremely welcoming and warm. Immediately greeting us every time we came in, always asking if we needed anything or if they could be of service. The staff made us feel so taken care of during our stay. The rooms were clean and well sized. We love the convenience of the Starbucks Cafe downstairs and so many cute little restaurants within walking distance as well. Highly recommend this hotel for staff and location!

Everything was nice. The beds were comfy but no matter how low I lower for the air conditioning it stayed 70. It was a very hot weekend and I was here for all star baseball tournament. So being out in the heat all day and to be warm all night long to was horrible. I will not be staying at this establishment again.

We are deeply disappointed with our experience at Westin. From the beginning, communication was consistently poor, with delayed responses that required multiple follow-up emails and phone calls. Important wedding details often came with less than 24-hour deadlines, adding unnecessary stress during an already busy time. The venue was ill-equipped to accommodate Indian weddings, despite initial assurances. Our DJ faced restrictions that were not communicated beforehand, and coordinating with the caterer was unnecessarily difficult. The lack of flexibility was frustrating, especially when hidden costs appeared, of note the costs that were initially labeled non-negotiable but mysteriously removed when we considered changing venues. To make matters worse, our point of contact changed right before our multi-day wedding, causing further confusion and disorganization. We do not recommend this venue for weddings, especially Indian weddings.
