The Westin Chongqing Liberation Square

We stayed a quick 1 night on an extremely busy Dragon Boat Festival period. Lots of check outs when we arrived at 11am but we were still able to get a room by 1.30pm. At check in we paid a little extra for the river view room as we wanted to see the city lights. It was a great view indeed without having to be part of the crowd by the bridge and river. Food and service were good too. Extensive breakfast with local and western selections. I particularly liked the DIY sandwich station.

I recently stayed at The Westin Chongqing and had an exceptional experience. The hotel’s location is perfect for easy access to the city, and the facilities are well-maintained and clean. I was particularly impressed by Kelvin at the front desk, who was incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. His attentiveness and patience were much appreciated. Additionally, Phyllis at the Westin Club stood out for his professionalism, always addressing me by name and promptly attending to my needs. The personal touch he provided made my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, The Westin Chongqing offers excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere, making it a top choice for anyone visiting the city. I look forward to returning soon.

I had a quick stay at this hotel for a business trip. I want to give a 5 star because the location and the room I had was just perfect but what they are lacking is the service. It just doesn’t feel like the service you would get at a 5-star hotel. It didn’t feel warm. A simple request took forever and maybe was forgot because I had to call again. I waited for a while at check in while I was the only one in line and no one seemed to want to help me. They were either chatting with each other and on their phone. For that I just can’t give a 5 star review.
