The Westin Dallas Fort Worth Airport

Stayed here for 5 nights. When I checked in the room had a problem but this was quickly resolved with no fuss. Staff were always super helpful and friendly. Rooms and facilities were fine. Breakfast offerings were also fine. I felt it was a bit much that they charged for parking. Overall a good stay and I would stay here again.

My stay at the Westin DFW Airport was a mixed bag. The hotel itself is beautiful and well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and efficient, but a few significant issues kept this from being a truly great experience. First, the noise was a major problem. My room, 723, was directly in the flight path, and the constant sound of planes taking off and landing was incredibly loud and disruptive, making it difficult to relax or sleep. Additionally, I had a frustrating experience with the amenities. The iron in my room was not properly cleaned and left a noticeable stain on my clothes, which was quite inconvenient. To top it off, the shower in the bathroom had a faulty temperature control, making it a challenge to get a consistent water temperature. While the hotel has a lot going for it, these issues with the noise, room amenities, and cleanliness brought the overall quality of my stay down. A little more attention to detail in these areas would make a world of difference.

The lobby and lobby bar were the highlights. That, and being close to the airport. The service was oddly rude, especially by the night manager. The room itself felt old and not up to Westin standards. I know the trend is to have bulk shampoo, conditioner and body wash. I find it gross and unsanitary. Who knows what people are doing to those. I probably would not stay here again.
