Such a great hotel. Very modern but comfortable. Super friendly staff. Great connected rooms for families. Small enough to feel homey unlike large properties. Great amenities for dogs :) Good gym. Excellent (!!!) breakfast - superb services from Juan Rico!! I appreciated how Noemi reached out through email beforehand to make sure my stay was special. She was exceptional to deal with - very professional and she delivered on all promises. Kudos Westin Guadalajara!
We stayed at the hotel for the entire weekend and appreciated the warm welcome upon arrival. The lobby was clean and stylish, and we were especially grateful to be allowed an early check-in since a room was available — a thoughtful gesture that started our stay on a positive note. The room was serviced daily, which we appreciated; however, toiletries and teas were not replenished, which was a bit disappointing. One noticeable drawback was the front desk staff, who consistently avoided eye contact and never greeted guests when entering or exiting the lobby — it made the atmosphere feel less hospitable than expected. Also worth noting: the hotel does not have a pool. If that’s something important to you, be sure to check in advance. On a brighter note, the bed was exceptionally comfortable — the mattress and pillows were truly dreamy. I haven’t slept that well in a hotel, not even at The Ritz or Mandarin Oriental! As a brand marketed as a “sports lifestyle” hotel, they definitely deliver on providing great rest and recovery. Kudos to them for that!
No water one day, then no hot water the next day. Also, no electricity one day. Was offered 10,000 points as a gesture of good will. Worst Westin I’ve ever stayed at. We went to another hotel. Very surprising for this brand.
