The Westin Hotel – A Disappointing and Disrespectful Experience I am thoroughly disappointed and disgusted by the treatment received at The Westin Hotel. What should have been a comfortable and welcoming experience quickly turned into an eye-opening example of blatant prejudice, poor management, and appalling customer service. One of the most shocking aspects of my stay was the way tourists from different countries were treated with varying levels of respect. It was painfully clear that some guests were favoured over others, with certain individuals being freely allowed to take photos and videos within the premises, while others were abruptly stopped and told it was not permitted. This inconsistency reeks of prejudice and bias – completely unacceptable for any establishment, let alone one that markets itself as a global, luxury hotel. The staff showed a complete lack of professionalism and courtesy. There was no sense of genuine hospitality or basic customer care. Questions were brushed off, concerns ignored, and requests met with cold, uninterested responses. It felt as though we were an inconvenience rather than valued guests. The overall experience left me feeling disrespected, unwelcomed, and appalled. It is disgraceful that a hotel under such a reputable brand would operate in such a manner. The Westin Hotel should take a hard look at its internal practices, staff training, and ethical standards. No guest should ever have to feel the sting of prejudice, the frustration of inconsistency. I will not be returning, and I strongly urge international travellers to reconsider before booking a stay here.
