The Westin Hapuna Beach Resort

Good sized, clean room. Service everywhere has been exemplary and every staff member has made me feel so welcomed! Beach is stunning - there are towels available and copious beach chairs with umbrellas. Could also rent snorkeling gear etc which I thought was nice. The pools are sparkling and clean. The poolside restaurant/bar was also great - several good drink options to enjoy while taking in the beautiful beach views. Would definitely hope to return again!

Stunning resort. Gorgeous views of turquoise ocean, beach, and waves crashing into black rock from just about the whole resort - lobby, seating areas, restaurants, pools and rooms. We loved that you could use the screen doors to the balcony so you could hear ocean sounds all night long. The bathroom is luxurious. There is one adult infinity pool and one family/kids pool, both beautiful. There are a decent amount of stairs involved to get down to the beach. I had a work conference there with a great breakfast every morning overlooking the ocean.

I feel awful writing this because it is seriously stunning here and the staff is heaven sent, really wonderful. This place could very easily this could be a homerun because of perfect beach and gorgeous architecture. Unfortunately, this hotel had a bug problem. I get having maybe one or two in the room because you are simply so close to the ocean. But I stayed there for two nights, and between my husband and I, we saw close to about twenty, especially in the bathroom area. To the point where some crawled into our travel bags. We did not have any food in the room whatsoever to attract these for any reason. For the high price you spend to be here, plus how expensive any extras are (food, drinks, excursions, etc), this should be the last problem to confront while trying to relax in a "luxury" space. Everything else was incredible, the beach access, pools, staff, restaurants. Absolutely incredible. If they address this bug issue it would easily be 5/5
