The Westin Hefei Baohe

Excellent place to stay in Hefei. The staff are wonderful, and most speak decent English. As a minimum everyone knows some English so you can always communicate what you're after. The buffet is excellent and is served breakfast lunch and dinner with a wide variety of items at each meal. Hotel is located well with Lord Bao park steps away and decent shopping across the street, or the luxury mall about a 20 min walk. Metro line also stops right across the street if you plan on taking the train.

A bit smelly when you enter the room, but it is quite common in China though.

First day was raining and I didn’t go out for coffee. Miserable mistake is having coffee in lobby. It is sort of coffee smell but cannot feel any of coffee at all.
