The Westin Houston Downtown

My stay was excellent. The person who checked me in, I think her name is Mikey, she was so kind, welcoming and took the time to provide me with all the information I needed. She made my stay extra special!! The restaurant onsite was delicious. service was great and the food was fresh, filling and very beautifully made. I had the Avocado toast, I wish had more time to try other menu items. You will not regret staying here, especially if you get one of the renovated rooms!

This hotel is amazing the service is top notch! Front Desk is personable, I checked in with Melisa. She was so kind and gave me the run down on the hotel. I made a comment about it being my wife’s birthday( really didn’t think anything of it) She went above and beyond sending up an amenity with a note. She even remembered my wife’s name. Truely have never experienced that kind of service anywhere. Westin definitely got a new loyal customer!!! I hope the staff knows how valuable she is to the team. Coming back soon!!!!

Would like to give it 5 stars, the rooms were very nice, clean and classy, staff was very nice. However, we were given a 4th floor room. Floors 2-5 have an open atrium to the bar/lobby, and so everything that happens in the lobby/bar.. you get to hear in your room. If you book here make sure you ask for a room above the 5th floor. It was a bit noisy, so you get to wake up much earlier than you really want to.
